Chartz Pro Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 29, 2026.

Chartz Pro is an offline-first app. It has no Chartz Pro account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated AI server. Your library stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, or use an optional cloud AI provider.

Files And App Data

Imported PDFs, chart metadata, setlists, annotations, review files, settings, and downloaded AI model files are stored locally on your device. You control any files that you export or save elsewhere.

AI Analysis

Local Qwen analysis runs on your device. Downloading its model files makes a standard request to the model host.

If you choose Gemini, OpenAI, or OpenRouter, Chartz Pro sends the page image and analysis instructions needed for your request directly to that provider. Your API key is stored in the operating system secure-storage facility. The provider may process and retain data under its own terms and privacy policy. Innobytez does not receive your pages, prompts, responses, or API keys. Chartz Pro asks you to confirm the named provider and transmitted content before each cloud-analysis run.

Nearby Sharing

When receiving is enabled and the app is open, Chartz Pro advertises limited discovery information, including the share name you selected, to compatible devices nearby. Packages are transferred directly between devices over local-network, Bluetooth, or nearby-device connections; they do not pass through a Chartz Pro server.

Permissions

Chartz Pro requests access to user-selected files only when you choose content to import or export. It uses local-network, Bluetooth, nearby-device, and Wi-Fi permissions for nearby discovery and transfer. On Android, a location permission may be requested for compatibility with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi discovery. Chartz Pro does not read, store, or transmit your geographic location.

Retention And Deletion

Local data remains until you delete it, remove downloaded models, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. You can delete the entire library and forget individual cloud API keys from Settings. Third-party AI providers control their own retention practices.
